About Apigat 2.5 Tablet

Apigat 2.5 Tablet is used to prevent and treat deep vein thrombosis (blood clots in leg veins) and pulmonary embolism (blood clots in the lung). Deep vein thrombosis is a condition in which blood clots form in deep veins, usually in the legs. Pulmonary embolism is a condition in which a blood clot blocks the arteries in the lungs.

Apigat 2.5 Tablet contains Apixaban, which works by inhibiting the action of blood clotting factor (Xa), which is an important element of blood clotting.

Not everyone who is taking Apigat 2.5 Tablet will get these side effects. Some people may experience nausea, anaemia, unusual bleeding, swelling and bruising. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. To help you remember, take it at the same time each day.

Directions for Use

  • Take Apigat 2.5 Tablet with or without food or as advised by a doctor.
