Nilotinib 200 mg

Nilotinib 200 mg is an oral prescription medicine belonging to the class of BCR-ABL tyrosine kinase inhibitors. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of newly diagnosed and resistant or intolerant cases of Philadelphia chromosome–positive chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph+ CML) in chronic and accelerated phases.

The medicine works by selectively inhibiting the abnormal BCR-ABL protein that drives the uncontrolled growth of leukemic cells, thereby slowing down or stopping cancer progression. Nilotinib is usually taken twice daily on an empty stomach, under medical supervision.
