     Indications

          Asthalin 100 mcg Inhaler is indicated for:

• Relief of bronchospasm in conditions such as asthma and COPD

• Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm

• Relief of wheezing and shortness of breath associated with respiratory conditions

    Dosage and Administration

• Adults and Children ≥12 years: 1–2 puffs every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 puffs in 24 hours.

• Children 4–11 years: 1 puff every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 puffs in 24 hours.

• Exercise-induced bronchospasm: 1–2 puffs 15–30 minutes before exercise.

Note: If you find yourself using the inhaler more frequently than usual, consult your doctor, as this may indicate poor asthma control.

    How It Works

Salbutamol is a short-acting beta-2 adrenergic agonist that relaxes the smooth muscles of the airways, leading to bronchodilation. This action helps alleviate symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath.

     Precautions and Warnings

• Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to Salbutamol or any component of the inhaler.

• Use with caution in:

     Proper Use and Maintenance

1. Preparation: Shake the inhaler well before each use.

2. Administration:

   • Hold the inhaler upright with your thumb on the base.

   • Exhale fully, then place the mouthpiece between your teeth and close your lips around it.

   • Breathe in slowly and deeply while pressing down on the inhaler to release a dose.

   • Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then exhale slowly.

3. Cleaning: Clean the inhaler at least once a week by removing the metal canister and rinsing the plastic actuator and mouthpiece with warm water. Do not immerse the metal canister in water
